Previous on INAMICE 2025

Established in 2014 by the MICE Study Program of Politeknik Negeri Jakarta, with annual support from the Ministry of Tourism and MICE industry associations, it has evolved into a leading forum for stakeholders in the Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry. The 8th edition of INAMICE successfully held on June 25th, 2025, at Grandkemang Hotel Jakarta, organized by the MICE Study Program of Politeknik Negeri Jakarta. This annual event was made possible with continued support from the Ministry of Tourism and the Government of DKI Jakarta Province, including the Departments of Tourism, Education, and Information. Additional support came from the United Nations Indonesia, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), and many other institutions. Carrying the theme “Achieving Sustainable Development Goals 2030 in Jakarta through Sustainable MICE Practices,” the event aligned with the United Nations' promotion of ISO 20121—Sustainable Event Management standardization by emphasizing the integration of sustainability, digitalization, and the use of eco-friendly materials in the MICE industry.

This initiative inspired Jakarta to adopt sustainable standards and materials in its event practices, while also encouraging collaboration among MICE stakeholders, government sector, associations, and academic institutions to prioritize environmental and social responsibility. Today, more event organizers and destinations are embracing eco-friendly measures to reduce their carbon footprint, from implementing digital solutions to minimizing waste. INAMICE didn't just highlight the theme, it also took actions introducing concrete actions such as the “1 tree for 1 ticket” initiative, paperless production, reduced plastic use, and recycled materials for merchandise. These efforts reflect a strong commitment to organizing truly sustainable events.
